LAPSG is happy to host the 21st Meeting of the International Association of Pancreatology in Buenos Aires during September 28-30, 2017. This IAP meeting is held in South America for the second time since 1984 (IAP 1986 was held in Sao Paulo), and is the 1st IAP/LAPSG Join Meeting.

Pancreas 2017 is based on outstanding invited speakers during the main meeting (September 29-30) and a two interactive workshops (September 28). Pancreas 2017’s scientific program has a wide approach to all aspects related to pancreatology. Gastroenterology, surgery and endoscopy are central issues in the meeting; while nutrition, oncology, diabetes and molecular diagnostic are special subjects in mini-symposiums. The basic scientific research, with its high impact on translational medicine, will offer the state of the arts in the knowledge on pancreatology. All these aspects of the complex pancreas diseases will be compacted in three days of full immersion scientific activity and a pleasant social program.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 21st IAP/LAPSG Join Meeting, the IAP and the LAPSG councils, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to Pancreas 2017 in Buenos Aires, where you will find excellent science in a unique city of South America.
