Dear friends and colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committees of the European Pancreatic Club 2015 and the EPC Council, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend our 47th meeting, celebrating the 50th EPC Anniversary, to be held in Toledo, Spain.

Toledo has gained a reputation as the city where cultures met; we would like to revisit this tradition by offering you a programme where cultures will also meet. We wish to bring together not only the diverse disciplines involved in the study of the exocrine pancreas but also those implicating the endocrine pancreas.

We are putting together an exciting programme with the usual sessions devoted to the main clinical and research aspects of the exocrine pancreas. In addition, we plan to include special sessions covering topics that have not been dealt in recent EPC meetings.

We would like to specially invite the youngest pancreatic researchers and clinicians as we will be offering them specific opportunities to meet colleagues and professors (i.e. “Everything you wanted to know and never dared to ask” and “Tapas with the Professor”).

After the summer we will be opening registration and abstract submission forms.

We encourage you to attend the EPC-2015 meeting in Toledo where you will find the best science in an unforgettable historical city.
